Terms of Service

Effective 21 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-21

These terms are an agreement between you and Chris, who operates Morning Podcast. By creating an account you accept them. They are short on purpose.

What the service is

monpod researches topics you choose, writes a script from that research, and narrates it as an audio briefing. It is currently a private beta: features change, things break, and there is no uptime commitment. Please do not depend on it for anything important.

The content is generated automatically, and it can be wrong

Your briefing is researched and written by AI systems, without a human checking it before you hear it. It can be inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, or confidently wrong. Treat it as a starting point, not a source of truth — and do not rely on it for financial, legal, medical or safety decisions. Verify anything that matters before acting on it.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use monpod. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for what happens under your account. One account per person.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

We may suspend or close an account that does any of these, or that costs us more to run than is reasonable for a free beta.

Your content and ours

The topics and notes you write remain yours. You grant us permission to process them for the sole purpose of producing your briefing, as described in the Privacy Policy. The software behind the service remains ours.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your episodes and audio go with it, and we cannot bring them back. If you want to keep anything, save it first.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a material change we will email you and update the version at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protections of the law of the country you live in.
